Description

Simplify your projector control and maintenance with the Hitachi CP-X2542WN  Projector. It is compatible with popular control and maintenance systems like AMX and Crestron, plus the Hitachi Quick Connection app for control via mobile devices. Its 2700 lumens of color and white brightness and 10,000:1 contrast ratio combine to help overcome ambient light in moderately lit rooms and keep details clear.

The CP-X2542WN has HDMI, HDMI with MHL, RCA composite video, and two VGA inputs to support a variety of devices. One of the VGA inputs doubles as an output to daisy-chain a number of projectors together to display the same content. Its 3.5mm audio output and built-in 16W speaker allow audio to accompany your video.

Accentualizer
Accentualizer technology is designed to make pictures look more real by enhancing sharpness, gloss, and shade to make pictures as clear as pictures on a flat-panel display. You can also adjust the effects by three levels according to your surroundings so that the colors of projected images are the actual colors of the objects they represent.
Image Optimizer
The Image Optimizer is designed to maintain visibility of an image through automatic image correction in accordance with lamp consumption.
HDCR (High Dynamic Contrast Range)
Using the HDCR function, blurred images caused by room lighting or outside light sources are corrected, and an effect similar to increased contrast occurs, resulting in clear images even in bright rooms.
Cloning Function
Copy configuration settings from one projector to others of the same model via USB memory. Cloning can save almost all projector settings such as gamma and keystone via USB memory.
ImageCare Technology
ImageCare is a lamp power control function that combines enhanced picture performance with energy savings by decreasing energy usage, improving contrast ratio, and lengthening lamp life. The result is a lower maintenance cost.
MHL Connectivity
MHL (Mobile High Definition) allows users to mirror their phone/tablet screen with the projector display and is compatible with most apps.
Perfect Fit 2
Perfect Fit 2 Enables the user to adjust individual corners and sides independent of one another. Perfect Fit 2 provides vertical and horizontal digital correction of either barrel or pincushion distortions. This feature helps correct geometric and complicated distortions, allowing the projected image to fit correctly to the screen quickly and easily.
Projector Quick Connection App for Mobile Devices
The Projector Quick Connection application offers full projector control and provides the capability to display photos, document files, and website contents. Available for iPad, iPhone, and Android devices, the app works over your LAN via your RJ-45 port or via an optional USBWL11N wireless adapter.
Wireless Switcher Option
The optional multifunctional switcher accessory operates in conjunction with the receiver to provide expanded source selection and switching options for connected devices, providing 1080p 30 fps wireless via WHDI for both video and audio.
Multi-Projector
You can project the same image to up to 12 projectors simultaneously. This is useful for meetings and lectures in large venues where a single screen isn’t sufficient.
Moderator Control Mode
Designating one of up to 50 computers that are connected to the projector as the moderator (host) makes it possible to project from all the computers (clients).
Input Source Naming
Users can rename input sources in more descriptive terms instead of using the factory default names.
Microphone Input
A microphone can be used via the jack located on the input panel, allowing for more dynamic presentations, even in standby mode.
Network Control, Maintenance, and Security
Embedded networking gives you the ability to manage and control multiple projectors over your LAN. Features include scheduling of events, centralized reporting, image transfer, and email alerts for reactive and routine maintenance.
Computer-Less Presentation
By using a USB memory stick or other storage device, you can use the projector without a computer. Menus are easy to see with a thumbnail display, and there is also a slideshow function. This feature also supports the following file types: JPG, PNG, BMP, GIF, AVI, and MOV with frame rates under 12 fps at 640 x 480 resolution.
PIN Lock / MyScreen / MyText
PIN lock protection can limit projector users. MyScreen PIN lock keeps captured images on the startup screen. Users can set any name logo to MyScreen, clearly identifying ownership. MyText provides the ability to write text on the startup screen, such as model name, serial number, or location.
PJMessenger
The PJMessenger function allows you to send and display text messages and audio alerts on your networked projectors. It is designed to be an easy and efficient way to send announcements out to multiple units.
Present Content via LAN
Hitachi’s suite of networking software allows you to easily send content directly from your computer to the projector via your LAN connection.
Serial Number and Media Access Control Label
A label is affixed to side of projector to more easily access and read the model name, serial number, and MAC address while mounted in ceiling use. This is a convenience for installers, end users, and auditors for instant accessibility.
Wireless Presentation Compatible
Connect the projector to a computer or your network using the optional USBWL11N USB wireless adapter, which supports IEE802.11n.
Saver Mode
Saver Mode is designed to reduce the lamp brightness and power consumption. It automatically activates when the projected image does not change in the preset time (1 to 30 minutes). You can also activate Saver Mode manually from the remote control.
Intelligent Eco Mode
This mode automatically changes the lamp brightness according to the input signal level. The lamp brightness is reduced when a darker image is projected and returns to normal when a brighter image is projected, eliminating unnecessary energy consumption from the lamp.
16W Internal Speaker
The CP-EX252N has a built-in 16W speaker, eliminating the need for an external speaker setup.
Easy Schedule Setting
You can schedule routine and special projector events, including power on, power off, input selection, and other settings.
Easy Maintenance
The lamp door is on the top and the filter cover is on the side, helping to make maintenance and replacement of these parts easy.
Remote Projector Monitoring and Control
Hitachi’s Projector Management Software (PJMan) gives you the ability to control, diagnose, and manage a single or group of Hitachi projectors. Monitor the status of the projector’s power, lamp hours, temperature, and air filter conditions.
Email Alerts
Email notifications are sent for routine maintenance and error conditions.
